1920'er sko med knap- Rød - Ruby

Beautifully made. Dark navy. They come up a little narrow so not great if you have standard/standard wide fitting. I struggle with the button closures. Wish there was an alternative option for those of us who are disabled. I would love to be able to do up my own shoes! Super quality and great to have replacement heels for future repairs. I knew it was a long fulfillment date, but disappointed when the promised date came and went with no update. I got a quick response once I chased, but shame I had to chase.

I wasn't specifically looking for vintage-style shoes, but these ended up being exactly what I wanted - cute, appropriate for daily wear, good quality. I love the design: the black is warm and looks very almost (but not quite!) dark brown; the stitching looks great; the pointed/slightly square toe is really stylish. I wanted a pair of unique mary janes and these far exceeded anything I saw from more trend-driven retailers, in both design and quality.
I've always worn a size UK5 but these were too loose and didn't hold my foot, as I have narrow feet. I sized down to UK4 and I was surprised to find that the fit is great - slightly tight around the toe but will stretch a little. The strap is too long for me and doesn't hug my foot but the rest of the shoe holds my foot well enough that this doesn't bother me.
Incredible customer service - I had a free video call after trying on the UK5s to advise on fit and was recommended to try the UK4. The UK4 was initially out of stock but the team kindly let me try it on in a different colour to check if I wanted to wait until restock. They fit, so I was willing to wait a couple of months until the restock, but was so pleased to find that a pair had become available sooner which the team sent to me straight away.
Overall I'm so happy with these, will be showing them off to all my friends!

Superflot og feminin hæl uden at være høj. Den hæltype ønsker jeg mig flere af, da jeg ikke kan gå med noget der er højere.
Det ser ret flot ud med knaplukningen med den er lidt besværlig at knappe med en hånd. Men jeg kan se at andre har skrevet at skoen er for kort over vristen, men det forstår jeg ikke, for jeg passer fint denne sko over vristen og det plejer ellers at være et af de steder jeg har problemer med andre sko fordi jeg skal have indlæg med bl.a. svangstøtte i.
Til mig er den en smule smal, men det er de fleste pæne damesko, men kunne jeg have fået de røde i en bred udgave havde jeg nok valgt det.
De er meget stive i starten, men de er hurtigt begyndt at blive blødere efter blot nogle timers brug hjemme i stuen.
De sorte i bred udgave er nu sat på ønskelisten.

I love these shoes, I got them in the cream colour and they’re the perfect neutral for any outfit. I love the low heel which makes them super comfortable and easy to walk in.

Jeg bestilte disse, fordi jeg gerne ville have nogle pæne vintage sko med lav hæl. Modellen passede fint i længde og bredde, men desværre ikke over vristen, hvor jeg ikke kunne knappe remmen.
Jeg har flere Memery sko, som passer mig fint, og som jeg rigtig glad for, så desværre.

These shoes were the fifth addition to my Memery collection of shoes, having bought a range over the past few years. I have always loved the fit and quality of the previous purchases, which is why I come back for more. I do a lot of walking in my daily life, but these shoes are worth investing in so when they get understandably worn out by my walking, I usually take them to a cobbler to have heels replaced or the leather patched. I was quite disappointed with these blue Ruby shoes because the bar had been set so high by the previous Memery shoes I had purchased. I bought the size I normally get, and they were definitely much more narrow than other Memery shoes I had purchased, and required wearing very thick socks for two weeks in order to stretch the leather. Since they were tight and the hard leather rubbed my feet, I didn't wear them much out and about, but around the home in order to break them in. Normally, there is a bit of breaking in needed for all leather shoes, but these ones were particularly uncomfortable to start with. Eventually, the leather was stretched and soft enough for me to start wearing the shoes outside, and within a week, the elastic that the fastening button is sewn on with snapped! Luckily I managed to find the button on the street (and the shoes do come with spare buttons which is useful) but I was disappointed that the elastic had worn out in less than a month and that I have to take them to a cobbler for repair already. The design gives the appearance that they are daily-wear, 'sensible' shoes, but I think they might not be suited to it as well as other designs such as Emma (which is is my all-time favourite daily wear shoe).

I'm anywhere from a US 7.5 to 8 depending on the shoe. I have sort of a square toe profile so if a shoe is too pointy my regular size is often painful. European size 38 was definitely too small, and these 39s are slightly too large, but at least they don't pinch. With that said, these are so adorable and very well made. Customer support is very good, too. I am looking forward to wearing them outside.

Comfortable, classic, and stylish - these are the perfect everyday shoes and just what I was looking for!

The shoes didn’t fit though I liked them. I returned and got a different style. Customer service is great.
